Marcus Mohlin is a member of the “ISEA Working Group on Digital Economy and the Geopolitical and Regulatory Impact of AI Development”, a project of ISEA.
Dr Marcus Mohlin is a Commander in the Swedish Armed Forces (currently on extended leave).
He is a fellow of The Royal Society of Naval Sciences, and a research fellow with the Swedish Defense University (SDU) in Stockholm. While at the SDU he lectured on international relations and strategy, and published extensively on matters of international security and global power dynamics.
He started his military career as a submarine officer but after a few years transferred to the security operation forces, where he rose to become a commanding officer before eventually moving on to academia. He has also served with the UN in Angola and with NATO during the operation in the Balkans. Dr Mohlin currently resides with his family in Kigali in Rwanda.
