Alessio Conforti

Alessio Conforti is a Fellow of ISEA and a lecturer at G. Marconi University (Rome).
Presently, Alessio works for the European Investment Fund (EIF), part of the European Investment Bank (EIB), as Head of Institution Client Relationships. In recent years he led the structuring of a product dedicated to Institutional Investors which ultimately fundraised in excess of EUR650m.
Previously, he has been adviser to the vice president of the European Investment Bank (2013–2016) and managed the implementation of the largest financial mandate of EIF (2008-2013).
Alessio started his career at the United Nations and he continues to be engaged with international development matters.
He holds an M.Sc. degree in Social Sciences and a Ph.D. in economics from University of Rome and an MBA from London Business School.
